For parents who want something meaningful and beautiful on a modest budget, the newborn mini session offers a simplified way to capture your baby just as they are—fresh, new, and full of wonder. Because of the shorter 30-minute format, this experience focuses on candid, natural images rather than posed, sleepy setups, but during your consultation, we’ll thoughtfully plan your session together. I’ll guide you through prop options, access to the client closet, and how to get the most out of this sweet, focused time. You’ll receive 10 hand-edited portraits of your choice in our Signature Box of archival-quality prints, with additional images available for purchase at $15 each or included in purchase of 8x10 or larger prints. These sessions are exclusively at the ALP studio in central Indiana. This is a solo adventure for your little one. Simple, soulful, and beautifully curated for memories that last.

- Come over to the studio. (Jo's recommendation for a diverse gallery). Full access to props & more styled setups. We do have 12 acres to also include beautiful family outdoor images in the gallery. Perfect for winter babies.
- A special location. For example: orchard, creek, wildflower field, any place that would be sentimental to your family or is part of who you are. A small travel fee applies to locations 12 miles from studio. With his selection you can count on gorgeous outdoor newborn portraits.
- Your home-in full documentary style. A way to highlight your nest, the nursery and pets. I will bring my traveling newborn studio to you. This arrangement leaves you with a combination of lifestyle/documentary photography & a set of posed/ styled portraits of baby.

These sessions are perfect for filling your baby’s first-year album with gorgeous, heartfelt memories that reflect your family’s unique story.
Choose from a variety of seasonal mini sessions, such as:
Bluebells Mini, Wildflower Mini, Creek Mini, Watermelon Mini, Sunflower Mini, Mommy & Me Mini, Autumn Mini, Holiday Mini, Winter Mini, and more to be announced! You can expect 10-15 images per mini.
